SENIOR NODE.JS DEVELOPER

We are Duos Asinos, a growing company founded and based in Belgrade. Our partner is a North American start up developing an innovative mobile app focused on enhancing user engagement by rewarding gamers for discovering and trying new games.

 

We’re seeking a skilled Senior Node.js Developer with experience on working on platforms such as Twitch or Discord to design and build a powerful and integrated apps that bridges Discord/Twitch with our client’s gaming platform, creating immersive, interactive experiences for global gamers. You will play a key role in developing real-time leaderboards, automating event management, and integrating gamified features within Discord/Twitch servers.  This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing platform that connects gaming studios with players, aiming to build the largest mobile gaming engagement app on the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a bot for seamless integration with the gaming platform.
  • Implement automation for event creation, participant management, and server organization.
  • Build real-time features like leaderboards, event updates, and user stats tracking.
  • Integrate payment systems and reward features to enhance user engagement and monetization.
  • Ensure the bot supports large-scale events and provides scalability for high-traffic servers.
  • Foster community engagement with interactive tools like polls, trivia, and referral systems.
  • Enable multi-language support and accessibility features for a global audience.

 

What We’re Looking for:

  • Proven experience in developing Discord bots using frameworks like Discord.js or Discord.py.
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
  • Experience with API integration, real-time data synchronization, and database management (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
  • Knowledge of scalable hosting solutions (e.g., AWS) for handling high-traffic loads.
  • Deep understanding of Discord server roles, permissions, and workflows, particularly for gaming communities.
  • Familiarity with payment processors and monetization tools is a plus.
  • Ability to design user-centric features that drive community engagement and enhance the user experience.
