PYTHON DEVELOPER

We are Duos Asinos, a growing company founded and based in Belgrade. Our partner is a North American, innovative, worldwide renowned front-runner in its industry, with a large user base.

Our team is expanding, and we are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic environment. Please note: this is not a junior position—we are specifically seeking candidates with a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python and related technologies.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the infrastructure that serves an impressive 40 million users weekly. You’ll work on enhancing and maintaining business intelligence and data acquisition systems, as well as collaborating closely with data scientists to integrate machine learning models into production environments. Your ability to develop robust analytics applications and design scalable data architecture will be key to achieving our business goals.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience with Python programming.
  • Experience in at least one other language: (JavaScript, Java, Scala, etc.).
  • Expertise in popular Python libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Scikit-learn).
  • Proficiency with SQL and understanding of data structures, software design patterns, and OOP.
  • Knowledge of Flask, Django, or FastAPI for web development.
  • Familiarity with database concepts, both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Understanding of Big Data techniques, distributed computing, data lakes, and ETL processes.
  • Experience working with US clients and awareness of IT compliance and security requirements.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Big Data platforms and data warehousing (e.g., Databricks, Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery).
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, MLOps).
  • Experience building REST APIs and deploying machine learning models.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on long-term projects.
  • A continuous learning mindset to stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies.
  • Creativity in problem-solving.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Python and SQL.
  • Proven ability to design, scale, and optimize infrastructure systems.
