Senior Software Engineer

What we’re looking for:
- Extensive experience with Visual Basic 6 for maintaining and updating legacy code.
- Proficient in Microsoft Visual SourceSafe for source control management.
- Strong experience with the .NET Framework (1.0 to 3.5).
- Knowledge of Windows Servers (2000 to 2016) and Windows XP environments.
- Deep understanding of Web Forms/MVC and jQuery for front-end development.
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle DB and MSSQL.
- Ability to work with legacy and outdated systems while also providing solutions for modernization or integration with newer technologies.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Biztalk.
Key responsibilities:
- Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation for system designs, components, and subcomponents.
- Develop and manage system diagrams and high-level system designs.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure that the system architecture meets both functional and technical requirements.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain legacy code to ensure compatibility with new systems and requirements.
- Assist in the development and modification of system components to improve performance and functionality.
- Participate in system integration and ensure that various system components work together as expected.
- Maintain and manage version control and source code using Microsoft Visual SourceSafe.
Nice to have:
- Experience with system design, architecture, and working with both legacy and modern technologies.
- Familiarity with system integration and troubleshooting of complex issues across various system layers.
