As a PHP Developer, you would be responsible for maintaining our backend services and apps that were written in PHP, fixing bugs, implementing new features as well as integrating new API endpoints for a new eCommerce platform that’s based on ReactJS and Java (microservices). We also have a plan on how to modernize the PHP backends. We want to split them into microservices, so if you have any experience with Laravel/Lumen, even better. Or if you think there’s a better way, tell us 🙂

What we’re looking for:
⦁ Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a PHP backend developer
⦁ Experience with MySQL relational databases
⦁ Experience with using version control tools like GitHub or Bitbucket
⦁ English language full proficiency is a must
⦁ Experience with JS/JQ
⦁ Ability to learn new technologies
⦁ Persistence and ability to meet deadlines
Not a must, but cool if you have it:
⦁ Experience with Laravel/Lumen
⦁ Experience with Symfony framework
⦁ Experience with micro-services architecture
⦁ Experience with AWS services and cloud technologies
⦁ Experience with container-based architectures like Docker
⦁ Experience with JIRA/Bitbucket
⦁ Experience in Agile-managed development projects
⦁ Experience working with US clients or customers
⦁ Awareness of IT companies’ Compliance and Security requirements
What’s our selection process like?
First, we set up an introductory meeting, where we introduce you to Duos Asinos, project specifics, and hopefully, hear a bit about you. The next step would be a technical interview with the team lead. Afterward, you’ll get an official offer from us, if both sides agree, we sign the contract for an indefinite period, and boom, we’re done!
